What to Expect After PRF EZ Gel

Before Treatment

Prior to treatment, you will have a consultation to determine if PRF is the right option for your aesthetic goals. The treatment plan, expectations and aftercare will be discussed. If PRF is right for you, you can begin treatment immediately following consultation. To prepare for your appointment please arrive well hydrated to ensure a successful blood draw. To reduce risk for bruising, please avoid the use of medications containing ibuprofen or aspirin for 2 weeks before your appointment. Do not stop taking any medication that is prescribed by your healthcare provider.

After Treatment

After treatment, patients can expect to have mild swelling for a couple of days. Bruising is possible but unlikely. You will notice improvement of the skin in the areas treated about 4-8 weeks after treatment. Since this treatment is regenerative using your body’s own healing mechanisms. results are gradual and take several weeks to develop. The number of treatments required for optimal results will depend on the patients age and aesthetic goals. Most patients require 2-3 sessions 4-6 weeks apart.
